2010 OUTDOOR PRACTICE BEGINS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22 @ 3:15PM - Outdoor practice will begin on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 3:15pm. Athletes should report to room 108 for team meeting and information packet pick-up. Information Sheet and Important Dates will be available shortly.

Parents meeting set for Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - Attendence at this meeting is important to discuss the direction of the program, the new facility, and training schedules. It will be held in room 108 at 6:30 pm.

2010 Class 4A State Meet- The Class 4A State Championship meet will be held from Thursday, May 20 to Saturday, May 22 at JeffCo Stadium. Qualifying will be the same as last year, with the top 18 performing athletes from each event will be accepted into the meet.

Michael Jennings - Track Athlete Turns Professional Football Player - Michael Jennings, a national caliber sprinter (200/400) during his days at Florida State University after only lettering one year in track in high school, became a member of the N.Y. Giants this past Fall. His profile page tells the story of a young man never playing a down of football in college earned a NFL roster spot after numerous attempts with several teams.

Former TJ Track Athlete Earns NFL Roster Spot - Derrick Martin, former TJ sprinter was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens this past summer in the 6th round, earned a spot on the team's roster this past fall. Profile page on the Ravens website.
