Dave Cohen, the Man, the Myth, the Legend, was born on a cold snowy afternoon in New York City, New York, in January of 1969. While growing up in Westchester County, NY, Cohen's Mother, a professional Violinist, always thought little Dave would become a musician. Numerous times, Dave had a violin shoved under his chin or was forced to sit in front of a piano, but every time this was occurring Dave would look out the window, see the kids in the neighborhood running around in the streets and would begin to cry. Fortunately, Dave had an understanding mother and no music talent, therefore she eventually let him go........... The rest is history and is documented in an intriguing article in the New England Journal of Medicine relating to all his sports injuries through life.
