Woody Bonner enters his sixth season with TJ Track & Field. In addition to coaching Track, he is a member of the Football staff. A true gentleman, Woody has an amazing way of phrasing things, often easing tense situations.

Some interesting facts about Coach Bonner:

• Worked as a Bounty Hunter prior to joining Denver Public Schools.
• Growing up in Texas, Woody pursued acting and became one of the most sought after child actors in commercials
• As a junior in high school, it appeared that he set a state record in the 100 meter dash, until it was determined that the start line was accidentally marked at only 90 meters.

• Was originally cast as Tyrone Millman in 1978's "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh", however he was fired and the role was given to James Bond III, after Julius Erving complained there wasn't chemistry between the two.

• Enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, and piloting his Pitts Special S-2B stunt plane.
