Chris was the #1 seed at the Connecticut State Open Championship in '94, took to much cold medication prior to the race, became dehydrated, was in the lead with about 200 meters to go, and ended up crawling across the finish line. He went on to Iona College, one of the top distance programs in the country where he competed at 4 NCAA Championship meets. |
